Upgrading to IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) is on the horizon for most IBM Maximo users. As traditional Maximo is retired, upgrading to MAS will be a path required to implement MAS. However, it goes far beyond a technical upgrade: it provides the opportunity to implement thoughtful change management, a component often overlooked in software implementation strategies. Without a solid plan, confusion and resistance can undermine even the best efforts to implement or upgrade systems such as MAS.

On Sept 10, 2024 the annual Calgary CanMUG meeting was held. This meeting provides a forum in Canada for Maximo end-users to explore ideas, discuss theory and develop knowledge together.
As part of the North American Offices Stampede celebrations this year, the team at Electra dedicated their time and money towards Women In Need Society (WINS) Calgary. Finance Administrator, Abi Grainger shares her perspective of the event.
The West Mountain group was established to support and promote Maximo users and is comprised from the rocky mountain areas including Colorado, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming.
