Joining the multimedia development team as a Media Developer you’ll assist in creating a variety of bespoke eLearning products for global distribution.
You will be involved in the entire development lifecycle. This will include liaising with clients and taking ideas from the storyboard stage through to developing a completed course. As such this will require a strong client focus, excellent technical skills and a distinct flair for design.
You will require a large amount of design initiative along with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Good presentation skills also play a key part of the role.

Job Purpose

  • Generation of graphics / animations for eLearning packages
  • Manipulating media files to be implemented into eLearning packages
  • Manipulation and developing templates within Adobe products
  • Generation of support materials such as packaging and marketing material
  • Interaction with client / end users

Key Result Areas

  • Maintaining production targets, ensuring projects meet budget and timescale requirements
  • Maintaining required quality assurance targets
  • Ensuring course content is of a consistently high design standard

Technical Skills

Good working knowledge of the following software packages:

  • Adobe Creative Suite, especially, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects
  • Adobe Captivate
  • Articulate Storyline 360

Experience and Qualifications

Suitable candidates will have an excellent working knowledge of graphical design processes and media manipulation skills and proven evidence of this knowledge.

It would be advantageous for candidate to have experience working in the design industry and specifically the eLearning industry. Being a graduate in a relevant field would be advantageous, but is not a requirement.
