I studied Graphic Design in Brazil and later Multimedia Productions in Lethbridge, Alberta. Throughout my courses, I enjoyed learning a wide variety of skills in 3-D animation, motion graphics, and interactive media design. While at the college, I worked at the Centre for Teaching, Learning, and Innovation. This experience led me to do freelance work and ultimately land a job at Electra.
My projects at Electra allow me to use many aspects of my education. I really enjoy the ability to be creative with my design approaches and themes. Overall, I find that my work is diverse and engaging. I appreciate helping people learn and understand new concepts. Also, the staff at Electra are friendly and fun making it a great place to work.
In my free time, I enjoy role-playing games with my friends either in person or online. A recent favourite of mine is Elden Ring. I really enjoy games and interactions with great storylines that involve the cooperation of many players to succeed. Also, a growing passion of mine is biking the many of the pathways that Calgary has to offer.
Another interest of mine is Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality. In my free time, I like to use Blender and Unreal Engine 5 to create amazing 3D content and experiences. From this experience, I think the future of eLearning will involve this technology to provide learners with immersive, realistic, interactive training.
