Asset management plays a critical role in streamlining your operation. If your organization manages complex asset lifecycles, leveraging IBM Maximo will provide a distinct competitive advantage.
eLearning provides advantages such as flexible training, interactive sessions, and trackable performance. Digital options for eLearning have grown significantly in the last couple of decades, and Electra Learning has been part of that growth for the last fifteen years.
Whether you’re new to Maximo, are looking to upgrade, or improve your team’s skills, getting comfortable with IBM’s leading enterprise asset management system1 (EAM) doesn’t have to feel overwhelming.
Roger Laycock and Neil Summers recently represented Electra Learning at the CanMUG conference in Toronto, an event that brought together a dynamic and forward-thinking community of IBM Maximo users from leading organizations both local, and from across Canada. This highly collaborative space fostered discussions around asset management challenges, innovative solutions, and the future of enterprise operations.
After attending the UK & Ireland Maximo User Group in Portsmouth, Maximo Project Manager Donna McWilliams shares her personal reflections and key takeaways from the event.
Returning from the GoMaximo event in Houston TX, Learning Consultant Darrell Hepburn reflects on his experience and shares key insights from the conference.
Generic, one-size-fits-all training often falls short, leaving users overwhelmed and underprepared. A smarter approach recognizes the unique responsibilities of each role—be it maintenance technicians, procurement specialists, or operation managers—and tailors training to their specific needs. Empowered users drive smarter decisions, faster problem-solving, and a culture of innovation.
Another energizing Maximo Utilities Working Group (MUWG) conference in the bag for Electra Learning! We had a fantastic experience packed with innovation, insights, and a ton of networking opportunities.
Upgrading to IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) is on the horizon for most IBM Maximo users. As traditional Maximo is retired, upgrading to MAS will be a path required to implement MAS. However, it goes far beyond a technical upgrade: it provides the opportunity to implement thoughtful change management, a component often overlooked in software implementation strategies. Without a solid plan, confusion and resistance can undermine even the best efforts to implement or upgrade systems such as MAS.
